How Common Are COVID Vaccine-Related Fevers Really?

April 23, 2021  ||  By Matt Albasi and Randy Leonard

The results are in: a survey of 14,000 Kinsa users since March found that 20% of all fevers in our signal were due to a recent vaccination.

In March, if a user had a fever, along with the routine triage questions, we asked whether they received a COVID-19 vaccine recently. The most common side effects for those people were body aches, chills and headaches. With vaccines now open to everyone over the age of 16, we expect to see more and more of these fevers soon.

Watch below as vaccine-related fevers pop up in real-time across the US.
